Agriculture Solicitor - 1 year + PQE

My client is a leading regional law firm and is now looking for an experienced agricultural lawyer with proven marketing ability, to help expand upon an existing client base from their Bath office. A knowledge of rural property is essential.

The client is seeking a candidate with an established specialism in the agricultural sector including, a sound understanding of the sale and purchase of farms, farmland and agricultural tenancies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to give advice on the legal aspects of general estate and farm management and will have an extensive background knowledge of agriculture/farming and with practical experience of farming issues such as single farm payments, farm business tenancies, partnership agreements etc. Awareness of new developments affecting farmers and landholders such as solar energy and diversification into trading activities would also be helpful.

The client provides advice to farmers, landlords and tenants of agricultural land, and businesses in the agricultural sector. They act for owners of landed estates providing advice on matters such as property issues, trusts, tax, succession planning and sporting rights.
