Education Lawyer
I am currently recruiting for an Education (SEND) Lawyer to join a well-respected team based in East Anglia. This will be on an initial 3 month period, with view to extension.
The Education Lawyer will be expected to:
- Have a good understanding of the legal framework for identifying, assessing and supporting children and young people with special educational needs,
- Claims before the First-Tier Tribunal (SEND) and Upper Tribunal related to Education, Health and Care Plans
- Disability Discrimination proceedings
- Judicial Review claims against Local Authorities and government departments
It is essential that you have experience dealing with SEND tribunals and can pick up a caseload with minimal supervision.
