Senior Legal Cashier

A highly prestigious US law firm currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Cashier to join their friendly team in London. The Senior Legal Cashier will primarily be responsible for the cash requirements of the office and preparation of VAT returns. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that work is performed to the highest standard and in accordance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. This is a busy and varied role which will involve but not be limited to:

• Client and Office cash receipt entry
• Running daily Client and Office bank account checks
• Producing office account bank reconciliations
• Setting-up client transactional payments
• Assisting with budget requests
• Providing cover for AP Disbursement reporting
• Dealing with counsel fee notes
• Assisting with annual SAR statutory audit process

The Senior Legal Cashier will ideally have relevant cashiering experience within an international law firm and knowledge of Chrome River, CMS Aderant or Elite software. This is a busy role and attention to detail is of upmost importance as well as excellent communication skills. There will be a requirement to work additional hours at busy times like month end and year end, so flexibility is required.
