The Role

Due to continuing growth, this firm are looking to hire an experienced Planning Solicitor to join one of their offices in Essex.

You will join a friendly, supportive and professional team. The planning department are highly-regarded in the region and house a number of individuals who are recognised in the Legal 500, as well as in the industry as being specialist leaders. The clients include national developers, local authorities and individuals. Your caseload will include general planning matters such as contracts, litigation and negotiations, providing advice, as well as business development and networking.

You will have good training and career development, for the right candidate very good career prospects are on offer.

Requirements

• You will be a Planning Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE
• You will have an excellent technical knowledge of planning matters and a good billings history
• You will be a keen business developer, with proven experience in introducing new business
• You should be ambitious and eager to progress
• The salary will be competitive and based upon experience.
