Commercial Property Case Officer

A public sector organisation in the West Midlands is seeking to add a Commercial Property Legal Officer or Lawyer to their team whilst they recruit to the post permanently. This locum role is expected to last 3 to 6 months and is offered on a full time basis.

You will be responsible for undertaking commercial property work, assisting with commercial property transactions and negotiating leases. This role does not require a legal qualification but experience in commercial property law is essential, especially experience of drafting leases.

It is important that you have:

• Experience of handling commercial property matters, especially lease issues and disposals
• Experience drafting leases
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work on you own initiative
• Strong computer literacy

An hourly rate of between £20 - £30 per hour (umbrella) is offered for this post.
