Family Solicitor

Our client, a well-established law firm in Sunderland, is a specialist and independent firm that offers a comprehensive range of legal advice to both private individuals and businesses. They are a small traditional firm with an excellent reputation who will make every effort to support you and your career development.

The busy team work on a full range of private family matters, however there may be some need to assist the care team as and when required. The right candidate should be able to work independently without much administrational support and will need to hit the ground running with an existing case load of matters such as private divorce, financial and children.

You will be actively encouraged to get involved with the team marketing and business development with the ability to network, represent and market the firm appropriately. You may also be required to manage support staff, therefore experience of this would be ideal.

The ideal candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills and be a self-starter who can work on their own initiative. You will also need strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels including colleagues and clients.

The successful candidate should be 3+ years' PQE, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket.
