Investment Funds Lawyers (3yr PQE to Partner) – British Virgin Islands

We are working closely with a highly rated offshore firm that is currently experiencing unprecedented levels of work across its international transactional & regulatory groups. In response to this demand Partners are keen to consider applications from candidates with a strong background in funds work for its expanding BVI office, which advises on the formation, restructuring and closure, both in distressed and planned scenarios, of private equity and hedge funds in addition to representing limited partnerships, and start-ups in the FinTech space (specifically with reference to Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies).

Admitted to practice in the BVI and/or United Kingdom with a least 3 years post qualified experience, candidates will possess a strong academic pedigree and desire to build a long-term career within the offshore funds space. Technically strong with the ability to identify and react to changing scenarios, it is envisaged you will have developed a wide range of corporate and regulatory experience across the funds sector either in the UK or offshore. More senior lawyers that are also considering their options this time would also be urged to apply, with Partnership potentially available to those with the right background and pedigree.
