The Cayman litigation group of this highly rated offshore law firm advises and appears in the Cayman Islands Courts on behalf of creditors, shareholders, provisional and official liquidators, directors, managers and other professional service providers in relation to the restructuring and liquidation of Cayman companies and other entities. They also combine an extremely active general litigation practice involving widely varying commercial contexts and structures, but with a particular emphasis on shareholder and investment fund disputes, often with a cross-border context.

In response to increased caseload they seek an additional disputes associate, either a barrister or solicitor, with circa 3-5 years post qualified experience to ideally include insolvency, distressed funds, shareholder issues, asset tracing, trust disputes and other relevant commercial litigation.  Applicants will currently be practicing at a rated commercial chambers or international law firm and possess a superb academic pedigree.

The successful applicant will be looking to make a long-term commitment to the offshore legal sector and be ready and willing to take on responsibility for multiple files, working closely with senior lawyers and clients on complicated and challenging matters that require both technical ability and a commercial approach. In return for your efforts you will benefit from a well-rounded training and development program in addition to a very attractive financial package. Prospects for career advancement are strong for those that have the ambition and determination to match their ability, but also appreciate the importance of team work within what is a tight knit, collegiate group.
