Commercial Paralegal - Temp

A leading retailer in the North East is looking to recruit a temporary in house commercial paralegal / legal executive to support their General Counsel.

It is essential that you have previous commercial law experience including exposure to commercial contracts and that you are available to start at short notice. The role will include:

Drafting and negotiating all commercial contracts across the business, developing and maintaining templates where appropriate. Ensuring that the business is at all times compliant with GDPR and associated legislation (including document retention), and implementation of all necessary policies, procedures and training. Work with the Company Secretary to implement and enforce appropriate internal legal/governance policies.

Establish, maintain, process, and/or oversee files, correspondence, contract management, records, and/or other documents for all agreements and other executed legal documents.
