Planning Associate

Our client, a full-service global law firm, is seeking an experienced Planning Associate to join their well regarded Planning team based in Birmingham city centre.

About the role

This firm's Birmingham Planning team is tier 1 in the Legal 500 and is currently instructed on some significant planning applications in Birmingham city centre. The team is comprised of a number of leading individuals in this field providing the opportunity to work with experts in the Planning arena. With an enviable client base, acting for some of the largest developers in the UK along with major landowners and public sector bodies, this is a great opportunity for somebody to come in and be exposed to the best quality work in the Midlands including large scale strategic development projects.

About the person

The successful Planning Associate will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally a minimum of 4 years experience gained at a well-respected International or National firm. This does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying for this role. Experience of major infrastructure projects in particular highways schemes is desirable.

• A team player with good project management skills; and
• Commercial awareness
