Plexus Law is a Specialist Defendant Insurance Practice with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, Evesham, Liverpool and Edinburgh. The firm works with Insurance Companies, Corporate and Public Sector Clients and the Lloyd’s market.

Description

You will focus on driving process improvement to eliminate unnecessary manual activities and/or risk wherever possible using data gathered from our systems, people and processes to inform actions.  You will ensure the regularisation of data when working on improvements and always consider the impact on our people and other business processes when proposing or implementing changes.

Responsibilities

Support the Head of Process Improvements by:

• Defining current processes and data sets
• Identifying opportunities for regularising data and processes
• Introducing data and rule driven automation where this improves efficiency and / or reduces risk
• Keep abreast of the benefits that technology based solutions can deliver, working closely with IT

Essential Skills & Experience

• Critical thinking, with practical experience of analysing and improving complex processes and data
• Able to communicate effectively and adapt style to all levels of subject understanding
• Excellent information gathering and verbal / written presentation skills
• Must have the ability to present complex processes in a format that can be easily understood by the intended audience
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Visio and Excel
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent time estimation and management skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience of working in a legal environment with an understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Accounts Rules and Code of Conduct
