Business Development Manager/Senior Executive

This world class international law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its London business development team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role presents a great opportunity to be a key contact for its leading Financial Markets International Practice Group, delivering on the marketing and business development objectives of the firm with the BD team. The main purpose of this position is to work with the Financial Markets Senior BD and Head of IPG to plan, execute and lead business development initiatives, ensuring key objectives in the business plans are achieved.

Job responsibilities:

• Becoming a well-informed source of key knowledge about the work of the financial markets team;
• Developing a plan that aligns to the firm’s business plan and maintaining an oversight of all BD activity, working with the Senior BDM;
• Identifying opportunities for thought leadership campaigns/products and delivering on campaigns;
• Leading on bids, pitches and capability statements;
• Working with the PR, digital and events teams to raise the profile of the group.

Job requirements:

• Experience working in a similar marketing/BD role in a legal or professional services environment;
• Preferably experience in an international role;
• End to end pitch management experience;
• Team management experience.
