This expanding national law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its London BD team, initially on a 12-month contract basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a significant and influencing role in the strategic development of the firm's biggest growth sector, working with the firm’s key clients, and to deliver first-class marketing and business development objectives.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop strategies, seek opportunities and coordinate a full range of BD and marketing activities to build and maintain close client relationships, increase the firm's profile, and attract new prospects;
- Develop sales strategy for major client accounts and marketing plans to support sector objectives, develop internal capability and help to develop new products;
- Work with the marketing team to produce a variety of materials including thought leadership campaigns, as well as producing case studies and maintaining sections of the website;
- Work closely with the events team on delivery of events targeted to specific key sectors; and
- Manage relationships with key industry contacts, media and other external bodies.
The ideal candidate will have manager-level Business Development experience, gained within a legal or professional services environment - experience in Real Estate or Housing would be especially desirable.
You’ll have proven experience of successfully delivering a robust marketing and BD strategy with demonstrable results, project management experience, strong influencing and communication skills, and an excellent understanding of the full range of BD and marketing activities.
This is an interim role, initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The firm is a growing Top 100 firm, rated highly in Chambers.
