This top 100 firm, who are well known for their recent expansions and ambitious drive now require a Planning Solicitor at 3 years + PQE to join their highly ranked Commercial team in their flagship Birmingham office.

The Role

This firm are looking for an experienced Commercial solicitor 3+ PQE to join their established Birmingham office.

The team have seen continued growth in the last 6 months and are showing no signs of stopping. This role would suit a driven and ambitious Associate who wishes to be part of this success story, with the aim to be the pre-eminent Commercial firm in the UK.

The Commercial team cover the six key areas of, TMT, IP, Contracts, Privacy & Data, Capital Projects & Infrastructure and Financial Services.

In this role you will be focusing heavily on data protection & data privacy working with a client base including, FTSE Plcs, global household names and the most innovative of start-ups. This will include but not be limited to matters such as; data breaches, data protection advice, employment advice, subject access requests, marketing and the sale/purchase of databases.

Requirements

• You will Ideally have at least 3+ years PQE (there is no upper limit in terms of PQE)
• Experience of work focused on data protection and data privacy is essential
• You must be enthusiastic about getting involved in business development activities
• You will receive a basic salary that is above market rate, dependant on experience
• You will be commercially minded, and you will need experience in handling Commercial caseloads
