Your new role
A new opportunity within the firm has arisen where they are looking for a solicitor with intellectual property and commercial experience. You will ideally have a caseload to bring with you however there is some work to pick up from the off. Initially your role will be roughly a 30/70% split between IP and Commercial work however this is a growing area and one they are looking to develop the individual and department in over the coming time. The department is currently splitting this work however a recent influx of work and client on boarding has meant they are very eager to create a specific role for one individual to support the department and take the work themselves.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years experience working across both IP and Commercial work. This opportunity is open to both candidates who are from a private practice or in-house background. You should be capable of working both as part of a team as well as independently and be able to come in and hit the ground running. This opportunity is very varied and there will be a mixed caseload allowing for a variety of cases. The Partner recruiting for this role is open to personalities allowing for the successful candidate to be either BD driven or not depending on their interests and strengths.
