A leading pioneer in the legal services industry and a global provider of technology-enabled legal solutions, is currently recruiting for a Company Secretary to join the Legal Entity Management team in Belfast City Centre.

Your new role
In your new role as a Company Secretary in the Legal Entity Management team your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
You'll be responsible for organising board committee meeting; collating board materials; attending meetings and taking minutes; monitoring action items.
You'll promote and drive consistent standards of legal entity governance oversight in accordance with internal client models and standards; providing directors, senior management and legal entities with support and training across corporate governance matters, including in relation to relevant laws and regulations, governance practices and legal entity management; and assisting as appropriate with local, regional and global regulatory and governance projects.
You'll maintain corporate records and certifications; support on the application of corporate procedures and record retention as relates to governance matters and internal procedures including oversight of Blueprint to ensure data is maintained by all users to facilitate regulatory reporting.


What you'll need to succeed
You'll have an undergraduate degree with ideally a MSc in Management and Corporate Governance (or equivalent) and be progressing towards Chartered status and full ICSA membership.
You'll ideally have at 2 years + company secretarial experience including familiarity of Blueprint Company Secretarial Software and a strong knowledge of company law with regular client-facing experience.
You'll have a good commercial awareness, strong written, verbal and communication skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience working within the financial services sector, knowledge of company legislation outside of the UK, exposure to Pan-European investment structures and knowledge of the US regulatory environment are considered highly advantageous.
