Risk and Compliance Executive.
An experienced Legal Risk and Compliance Executive is required to join a leading Cheltenham-based law firm on a permanent basis, to ensure effective management of the firm’s risk and compliance obligations in line with the applicable legal and regulatory obligations. You will be required to have Risk and Compliance/Regulatory experience from a legal background.
You will be working within a small team assisting the wide team of Fee Earners and must have experienced in complex complaints handling, detailed knowledge of SRA handbook compliance, breach management, incident investigation and mitigation implementation, experience of implementing law society practice notes into policy/procedures and knowledge of DPA/GDPR, ABC, AML, and conflicts resolution.
You will also be required to provide reports and MI data, conduct policy and compliance audits and responding to subject access requests.
