The Team

We are dominant in offshore litigation and restructuring, with a growing team which spans the BVI, Cayman, Bermuda, Hong Kong and London. We have a reputation for providing clear, accurate and timely advice to our clients and our work is almost exclusively connected with high-profile, high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes and restructurings.

Our Cayman litigation practice consists of a team of eighteen (made up of Partners, Senior Associates, Associates and Paralegals).

The Paralegal Litigation role:

Harneys is seeking a talented and experienced Paralegal to join our Litigation team. The successful Paralegal candidate will be responsible for the provision of impeccable paralegal support, including case management of a broad range of litigation matters.

Responsibilities of the Paralegal:

• Drafting legal documents
• Correspondence
• Legal research
• Document filing
• Billing

Qualifications & Experience of the Paralegal:

• Must have at least three (3) years’ experience as a Paralegal
• Must have a real passion for the law
• Previous experience supporting a litigation team required
• Law Degree essential
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook are required
• Familiarity with Elite and FileSite is desirable
• Must be good at working under pressure to tight deadlines
• Must be flexible on working overtime, often at short notice
