Trust & Private Client Lawyer (3-6 PQE) - British Virgin Islands

Our client is one of the leading offshore law firms with offices spanning the Caribbean, Channel Islands, Europe and Asia. Due to increased activity and a need to expand their associate capability they seek an additional lawyer with trust/private client expertise for their busy BVI office. 

Interested applicants should have a strong academic pedigree and gained their experience to date within a rated offshore or UK law firm that will have seen you advising a range of trustees, fiduciaries, settlors, beneficiaries and family offices and their advisers. England & Wales and/or BVI admitted, experience to date will ideally have spanned all aspects of non-contentious private trust matters, wealth structuring for institutional trustees and high net worth individuals together with all related regulatory work and cross-border succession matters. 

The successful candidate will be able to collaborate positively with colleagues across practice groups/offices and will be motivated and enthusiastic in their approach, with a desire to be proactively involved in business development and marketing activities. There will be significant client contact for those seeking additional responsibility and the position would suit those looking for career progression, continued professional development and an attractive financial package. The training and mentoring offered is also of a very high standard and will ensure the successful applicant will evolve and improve as a modern private client lawyer.
