My client, an established multi-disciplined law Firm have recently set up a Conveyancing Department and are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to take over in a Head of department capacity in Greater Manchester.
The Successful Head of Property's duties will involve encouraging, mentoring and developing all members of the team to including solicitors/fee earners, paralegals and admin assistants. Will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the conveyancing process, from instruction to completion, including responsibility for the team achieving their objectives, tracking performance daily and exploring how fees can be maximised for the firm.
The successful Head of Property candidate must have experience working with Residential and Commercial conveyancing processes and procedures and have extensive knowledge of sales and purchase of leasehold and freehold, re-mortgages and schemes such as Help to Buy and equity sharing arrangements. A proven supervisory track record is also essential.
