Legal Secretary Position (Conveyancing Department)
Our client is seeking an experienced legal secretary to join their conveyancing department based within the Chiltern district of Buckinghamshire
This will be a client facing role able to interact with them in a pleasant manner maintaining professionalism and upholding the client care standards of the firm
The candidate must act with a degree of autonomy, able to self-manage and complete their work in a timely manner and initiative.
Previous Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar post is essential. The right candidate will be working in a similar department and be keen to take on a matching role as a legal secretary
- Must have strong client care skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent word processing and audio typing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence and documents through the appropriate means
- Keeping administration in line with company procedures and being responsible for daily filing and opening, storage and retrieval of client files
- Prepare correspondence for dispatch
- Manage copying duties if the junior administrator is not available
- Diarise all meetings, schedules and ensuring it is kept up-to-date
- Support all other colleagues
- To attend Clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the Firm's standards for Client care;
