An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading US and international law firm, based in the City of London.

This HR Assistant vacancy is a busy, challenging and varied role.  The primary function of this position is to assist and support the HR Manager and Officers with all lateral hires, associate and support staff hires and all other generalist support of the London HR function. Duties will include a range of the following:

Assisting with the recruitment of trainee lawyers and support staff, database management, employee benefits, HR business processes, onboarding and integration of new joiners, compensation, leave and benefit administration, drafting of advertisements and position descriptions, liaising with local recruitment agencies and scheduling interviews where required, production of offer letters, secondment/transfer letters/termination letters, supporting the HR team with the annual evaluation and compensation processes, supporting the HR team with the exit interview process, coordinating training/webex facilities and creating and maintaining an HR e-filing systems.

In order to be considered, candidates are required to possess a thorough knowledge basic HR processes along with an excellent vocabulary, communication and organisational skills twinned with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst retaining a calm, collected and positive demeanour.  Candidates must be proactive and operate on initiative, in return you will receive a high level of autonomy and the chance to gradually progress within the firm.

This is a great opportunity for an HR Administrator, standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm with paid overtime and a discretionary annual bonus, salary is being pitched at between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience.
