Solicitor and Head of Office: Oxfordshire
Overview:
My client is a new breed of law firm that is growing fast by acquiring and developing established local high street practices which specialise in providing personal legal services.
This firm is now looking for an experienced Solicitor (either full time or part time) to take over a busy office in a market town in Oxfordshire. This is the only firm in a town of 20,000 inhabitants and is a key part of the local community.
There is an established team of 1 Legal Executive, 1 Assistant and 1 Apprentice.
Legal Experience:
Work includes Residential Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, Commercial Conveyancing and Family as well as other occasional requests.
Your skills:
You will be an experienced Solicitor and so able to deal with day to day enquiries, but it is essential that you have a relaxed and friendly manner to put potential clients at ease and the ability to engage with established clients and encourage them to remain by giving them confidence.
This role would be ideal for an entrepreneurial Solicitor who is frustrated by lack of control over their future or the culture of their current firm. This firm offers the opportunity to take control of your own career and grow an office but without the start-up risks of opening up from scratch or the compliance burden and insurance risks of taking one over yourself.
Alternatively, the role would suit two part time Solicitors, such as a parent wishing to return to work or a job sharer, who need flexibility in their working lives. Ideally, we would recruit two such individuals who could be mutually supportive.
The firm will agree a business plan with you and will take responsibility for all compliance, PII, IT, HR and general business issues. You will have day to day management of office and team with the latitude and freedom to make your own decisions on how best to achieve the plan with the comfort that you are backed by an experienced team of law firm leaders.
