The Role: Compliance Officer

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Department: Risk & Compliance

Contract: Permanent

Main Requirement: Providing support in the completion of compliance tasks, covering conflict checking and new business intake/matter openings.

We are recruiting an exciting new position for a Compliance Officer to join our clients diverse, well- established law firm based in London.

The successful candidate will have 2 years’ worth of relevant experience in a legal or financial services environment, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.

Tasks will include:

• Having to process conflict search requests
• Dealing with incoming requests for new client and new matter openings
• Assisting with the ongoing monitoring of existing clients
• Maintaining and implementing information barriers
• Receiving and analysing conflict search results to identify potential legal and/or commercial conflicts and facilitating the resolution of these, utilising Intapp Open software
• Conducting sanctions screening when applicable
• Providing information and answering questions concerning compliance related issues to the firm

For this role an undergraduate degree is required and experience of using Intapp Open software is desirable.
