Construction Solicitor - A rare opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading construction litigation teams in Manchester. This is a team which gains access to the kind of work which is normally reserved for 'top tier' firms. They are looking to attract a solicitor with 1-5 PQE to work with one of the Partners in the Manchester office.
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

- Reports to: Head of Construction
- Previous Experience: Construction Solicitor or Associate with proven experience advising on a wide range of litigious construction / engineering matters. Ideally candidates should have a 'top tier' or 'mid tier' background with a strong CV including excellent academics.
AN EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION TEAM
This is without doubt one of the leading construction litigation teams in the North advising on complex high-value contentious construction matters throughout the UK. The team advise numerous clients in the public and private sector across an equally varied range of sectors including energy infrastructure and development.
The team boasts a collection of accolades and is highly rated in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. The client base and quality of work is difficult to equal including large national and international client operating in mining, utilities, chemicals and engineering. Many of these are blue chip companies who demand the very highest level of legal advice.
The department is growing and is looking for a construction solicitor with roughly 1-5 years PQE. Applicants should be academically bright, but also demonstrate strong skills of commercial application. Given the nature of the clients who instruct the team, they are on the hunt for someone who enjoys a real challenge and is looking to build their career with one of the best construction teams in the market.

- Proven construction litigation experience from a respected firm;
- Strong academic background;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Strong understanding of principles of 'black letter' litigation law
