Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution Lawyer (Solicitor or Barrister) - Major offshore firm – British Virgin Islands *Urgent – immediate interviews*

Exciting opportunity for a junior commercial litigation/dispute resolution associate to join the litigation practice in the BVI office of this prestigious global offshore law firm.

This has the potential to be a life-changing move that involves no compromise at all on your career ambitions. You will be joining a litigation practice that is staffed by some of the leading lawyers in the offshore sector, many ex-City, and advising on the BVI law elements of major cross border disputes. You will be advising high-end international clients on a broad range of commercial, financial services and insolvency disputes, with a strong flow of work coming out of Asia. This will suit someone who enjoys client-facing work, who thrives on responsibility and who wants to fast-track their career development and earning potential.

Requirements

• Junior level Associate, probably in 1-3 years’ pqe range (please note that the firm is not willing to consider NQ applications at this stage).
• Experience of high-value commercial litigation/dispute resolution gained with a leading UK/international law firm or with a commercial/chancery set.
• Admitted in England & Wales (Solicitor or Barrister).

Salary and application information

• Salary will be dependent on experience. As a guideline, we would expect it to pay somewhere in the range of USD110k to USD130k base salary, low-tax. There is a bonus scheme, full benefits package and a good relocation allowance.
• Interviews are via videoconference and can usually be scheduled to fit around your working day.
• If successful we would anticipate a start date of 4-6 months from application.
