Solicitor – Contentious Probate

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a leading firm in Bedford.

Reporting to the Supervising Partner, the successful candidate will be in for a chance to progress their career to a more senior level within three years of joining. Evidently experienced in Court of Protection work including deputyship applications, on-going deputyship administration and ancillary applications such as trustee orders, the successful candidate will take on an interesting and hands-on caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Litigation with a focus on debt recovery
  • Wills
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Estate Administration
  • Professional negligence
  • Inheritance Act claims

The Candidate

  • Applications are encouraged from solicitors with at least two years PQE
  • Have a strong background in contentious probate
  • Demonstrate good client care skills
  • Provide professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA Code of conduct
  • Experience in marketing and business development
  • Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
