IP Litigation Paralegal at Award-Winning US Law Firm: to £38,000

A prestigious US Law Firm based in the heart of the City is currently looking to hire a new Paralegal to join the IP Litigation on a Permanent basis, working directly with the Partners and Attorneys on all client matters from the beginning through to trial and appeal.  Responsibilities will include the coordination and filing of court briefs and related material, managing and coordinating  hearing logistics - trials, appeals and interim hearings, the preparation of bundles, exhibits, appendices and pre-trial documents, document management including managing production processes, document reviews and document platforms, the management of material received from clients, opposing parties, and third parties (hard copies, electronic data, physical evidence), being responsible for case management in relation to documents and document management systems, undertaking substantive research tasks including (but not limited to) patents, patent histories, life sciences and technology products, analysing documents and materials, checking legal cites for proper format, content and standing, interacting with external entities such as: clients, government agencies, expert witnesses, consultants, other law firms, opposing parties and court personnel, communicating with and coordinates witnesses, consultants, experts, assisting team members in compiling material for business development, marketing, articles and pitches.  Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years Paralegal experience within an IP Litigation team, knowledge of filing documents with the High Court and the Civil Procedure Rules and understanding court procedures and trial logistics.
