A well-established Legal 500 law firm is seeking a highly motivated Construction Lawyer to join the leading Property team at their London office.
The Role
The Construction Lawyer will handle a variety of high quality non-contentious work, dealing with all values of transactions including:
- Portfolio acquisitions and disposal
- Joint venture agreements
- Purchase contracts
Candidate Requirements
The ideal lawyer will have:
- 1-5 years’ PQE
- Excellent academics
- Proven track record gained with a top national / London firm with an established construction team
- Sound knowledge and experience of UK construction
- Experience dealing with JCT contracts and professional appointments
- Experience in non-construction work to include familiarity with drafting / analysing the usual construction document; any experience assisting with contentious construction is useful but not essential
- A flexible and committed approach and ability to work under pressure
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
