NHS Head of Legal Vacancy (maternity cover)
Our client,an East London-based NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an interim Head of Legal to join their team to manage the legal services work carried out by the Trust to cover a maternity leave.
On a day to day basis, you will be liaising with solicitors and NHS Resolution to lead and manage the investigation of clinical and non-clinical claims. You will be dealing with the handling of complaints made against the Trust and also be managing the legal services team.
The post is to start in May and is expected to last at least 9 months and is an amazing opportunity for an experience legal professional to workin a renowned NHS legal team.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience managing a legal team within the NHS
- Be experienced in claims management and handling
- Have prior experience dealing with inquests and complaints
- Ideally be a qualified solicitor or barrister
