Treasury Solicitor

Your new company
A residential property group with a social purpose, they reinvest 100% of their profits into building new homes, managing existing homes, and supporting local communities. At present, they manage over 35,000 homes and are developing thousands more. Moreover they invest in local communities, supporting with training and apprenticeships as well as running community centres within the areas they operate in. They are currently seeking a Treasury Solicitor for a 12 Month maternity cover.

Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that the Group's property security, to ensure that the financing needs are met and to actively advise and be responsible for property based legal work across the Group. Your will be responsible for completing the charging of property assets in accordance with business requirements and for the development and maintenance of a Regulatory compliant Asset Register and the Group's Security Database of property assets, including information on property charges, Title Deeds and property valuations. Finally you will support the Director to manage the treasury budget for valuations and external legal services.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you should be a qualified Solicitor with previous demonstrable experience of property law acting on behalf of commercial clients or registered providers and you should have knowledge of security charging practice and procedures, S106 Agreements and conveyancing. You should have proven management skills as well as experience of managing successful projects. Finally you should have knowledge of property valuation issues relating to loan security or for accounting purposes.
