BANKING LAWYER NEEDED - 12 MONTH IN-HOUSE CONTRACT
We are working with a major international bank in London who are seeking to hire a generalist banking lawyer to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months.
The role involves a broad range of transactions including bilateral lending, restructuring and distressed debt, payments and cash management, trade finance, and custody legal matters. You would be expected to support relationship managers and may need to step in to support any strategic projects across the bank. This role will be working very closely with the business and you will need to be able to look across products/relationships as a whole.
The successful candidate will have qualified in England & Wales with at least 6 years PQE. You must have strong experience within banking, ideally gained in-house with a reputable bank or financial services. Candidates with transferable skills and strong corporate law background may also be considered. You will ideally be available to interview over the next few weeks, with a view to start in the role by mid-May.
