Banking

This well regarded banking practice seeks a junior to mid-level finance associate to join the firm's growing funds finance practice, part of the firm's established banking department which currently comprises over 40 lawyers specialising in 15 distinct practice areas.

The funds finance team has a wealth of experience advising on significant and innovative transactions for both funds and lenders and whilst the role will include advising clients on a wide range of finance matters, there is a strong focus on funds financing.

Associates work in an non-hierarchical environment for a range of partners, and can expect a good variety of work with regular client contact. The firm operates a culture based on associates being given the level of responsibility they are ready for, rather than a PQE based method of work allocation.

There are regular opportunities for secondments with clients. Posting to other offices under the firm's associate transfer programme is also possible.

The successful candidate will have:
-Current experience in the banking department of a leading City or US firm

-Experience in funds finance (including in particular capital call facilities, NAV facilities and fund due diligence)
