Paralegal (Asset Management)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of London’s elite tier US law firms as an Asset Management Paralegal on a 6 month contract.  Working with arguably London’s most successful and highest profile Partners and Attorneys, you will be given the opportunity and exposure to work on huge transactional client matters from initial instruction through to final completion, with minimal supervision.

The firm also offer an excellent training contract application scheme to their current paralegals and most go on to train within the firm so it really is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and progress.

In order to be considered for this role, candidates are required to have an excellent academic background, 2:1 degree minimum and ideally with the LPC qualification (not essential) along with proven working experience gained from a noted US or UK/international law firm in Corporate, Finance or Funds practice groups.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are absolutely key to being successful in this role, the team will often be working to stringent timelines with the added expectation of being renowned for always providing the highest standard of work, even when under the highest amount of pressure.  Due to this, candidates are required to have a flexible and committed attitude to working extended hours and overtime as and when required, often including weekends and bank holidays.

Standard working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm and salary range is going to be commensurate with experience (between £28-35,000) alongside extensive amounts of paid overtime, firm benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.
