Real Estate Finance Paralegal

We have a fantastic opening for a paralegal to join our client’s real estate finance team on a permanent basis on a salary between £22-£26K based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will have good academic results and prior experience being a paralegal, preferably in the real estate or financial sector. It is essential that they have a 2:1 in their degree and have completed the LPC.

What the role will entail:

• Large transactions: assist with the running and managing conditions
• Organisation: Coordinate reports to clients, chase internal teams on cross-departmental projects and send out reports
• Post completion tasks: including security registrations, and general administration
• General Admin: Organising internal team meetings, agendas, keeping minutes of meetings and liaising with either fee-earners
• Clients: Keep client sites (internal) up to date to support client team-e.g press news, procedural changes, team changes. Further to this you will need to create and maintain client extranets- creating logins, uploading documents, organising folders, keeping extranet up to date
• Searches: Companies House searches, completion searches and assisting with signing meetings
• Running release of security files (following training)
• Drafting from precedent documents and compiling client know how

Skills Required:

• 2:1 LLB/ GDL/ LPC
• 3 A-levels, grade B or above
• Can give an excellent service to clients
• Organised with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude
• Strong client relationship and influencing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills
