Details

We are looking for a number of 2019 transactional NQ’s for the Jersey office of a leading multi-jurisdictional offshore law firm. Openings exist across the corporate, funds and finance practices, promising a consistent diet of high-end work and a level of client contact that is rare for a junior lawyer in a top class firm. You will find yourself advising on some of the biggest deals, in one of the world’s preeminent offshore financial centres, often working closely with senior level partners. As a result, you will have the opportunity to build your career quickly, gaining experience that is highly valued across the offshore and wider international markets.

Requirements

• NQ solicitor, qualifying in 2019 in England & Wales, Scotland, Ireland or equivalent Commonwealth countries like Australia or New Zealand.
• Training contract completed with a City, International or leading regional UK law firm.
• At least one relevant seat - corporate, M&A, funds, real estate finance, general banking & finance.
• Sound academics (2.1) and good communication skills.

Salary and application information

• Salary c.£62k (20% tax-rate), benefits, bonus and relocation allowance.
• Interviews via phone/videoconference followed by a visit to Jersey (for UK/Ireland based applicants).
• Excellent feedback from lawyers who have relocated as NQ’s in previous years.
