Paralegal – 12m Contract
Our client, a diverse non-profit, is looking for a for an experienced paralegal to join their London based legal team on a 12-month contract. A successful candidate will support the legal work across charitable, operational and investment activities and help manage systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and templates and working with Legal team members to provide advice to colleagues.
- Undertaking legal research and presenting legal topics to lawyers and other colleagues.
- Assisting with the management of the team’s systems and processes (e.g. knowledge-sharing platform, contracts database and intranet pages).
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional paralegal qualification (i.e. CILEx) or degree in English law or GDL (or equivalent)
- LPC (or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working as a paralegal in-house or private practice
- Experience of managing systems such as a knowledge-sharing platform, contracts database or similar
- Excellent drafting, research and analysis skills
- Working knowledge of SharePoint or similar web-based portal and/or Access or similar database software
- Working knowledge of web-based products such as PLC and Lexis Nexis
