Our client a market leading services business based in London is seeking a Paralegal for a 5 month assignment starting at the beginning of April.
Activities include:
*Co-ordination of meetings, taking minutes where required and sending out action plans
*Assisting with the inventory activities - uploading new activities onto a Mega Tool, maintaining the GDPR sharepoint site where the high risk questionnaires are held; reviewing questionnaires to ensure the DCP's have correctly been identified the business as a data controller or data processor and have the correct legal justifications for processing: and apply the legitimate interest balancing test on the relevant questionnaires
*Assisting the DP Senior Counsel in the GDPR gap analysis, type up reports and distributing updates
*Assisting the segments and functions with data mapping exercises for implementation of new GDPR procedures
*Updating policies and procedures where required
*Conducting data protection research
*Assisting in the coordination and rolling out of the phase 2 GDPR training
*Coordinating the DPIA responses from the business and DP Senior Counsel
*Assisting in the reviewing of all fair processing notices
*Preparing GDPR variations to supply chain contract using existing template GDPR variation and negotiating amendments with suppliers through to finalisation
