Fantastic UK Law Firm is looking to recruit a new Facilities Manager to join their stunning London based offices on a permanent basis, handling the management and maintenance of the firm’s multiple premises.  Duties will include recommending and taking the lead on improvements to the premises, advising senior members of the firm on the best use of office space, handling and emergencies or urgent building issues which may arise, working with the Building Supervisor to manage all office moves, assisting with wider initiatives to improve the quality and services of the Facilities team, handling direct management of a number of Supervisors within the wider Facilities team, ensuring building supplier contracts are regularly reviewed, building relationships with key providers to ensure value for money, assisting with budgets for the Facilities department, providing monthly management reports, overseeing the safety and maintenance of the firm’s premises, ensuring all approved and required Health & Safety qualifications for the team are undertaken and kept up-to-date, attending regular Health & Safety Committee meetings, leading on the overall training delivery and any other ad hoc duties which may arise.  Candidates should have excellent communication skills and have proven management experience of managing spaces/buildings or corporate premises, with experience of working in a law firm in a similar role extremely advantageous.  Applicants should also have a deep understanding of facilities management and Health & Safety requirements, with the ability to liaise with personnel across all levels of seniority.  Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however a flexible attitude is required as there may be the need to work outside of these hours from time-to-time.
