Role: Senior Risk Analyst/ Risk Lawyer

Salary: £50,000- £65,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

We have the perfect opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst/ Risk Lawyer to join a global law firm on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who’s looking for a fresh start at a modern, agile working law firm.

 In this role you will be operating our client’s New Business Intake (NBI) system and will be:

• Performing conflict searches
• Raising necessary queries
• Analysing results- it is important to identify conflicts in accordance to the firm’s policy and relevant regulatory requirements
• Dealing with procedural queries raised by users
• Amending and drafting new NBI policies and guidance as and when needed
• Continuously striving to improve the system by leading projects and implementing new processes

The successful candidate will have an academically strong legal qualification and relevant experience of working within compliance at a reputable law firm. A high standard or verbal and written communication is required as you will be developing presentations to the practice and the wider Risk team on all aspects of NBI related policy and regulation which consists of:

• Conflict management
• AML requirements
• Sanctions
• Engagement
