A private family group in the UAE are looking for a General Counsel to manage the legal division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft & negotiate commercial contracts
- Provide legal advice to the business
- Identify legal and commercial risks to the business
- Engage external counsel
- Advise on regulatory and corporate governance matters
- Legal reporting
Key requirements:
- 10 years PQE (with at least 5 years in the Middle East)
- Must be fully bi-lingual (English & Arabic)
- Must have experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Must have corporate governance experience
- Must have trained and qualified in a recognisable law firm
- Must have worked in-house for a multi/international organisation
