If you have experience with IT Infrastructure, Microsoft Technologies and Application Support and have an analytical and strategic problem-solving mindset then you should take a look into this role as an Infrastructure Analyst.

Based out of either the Manchester or Liverpool offices of a leading global Law Firm you will be an integral part of the IT Operations Team. Your focus will be to support, run, maintain and improve the ITIL v3/ISO 20000 aligned services across the network of UK and International offices.

Working closely with other IT Team members such as the Infrastructure Manager, Security Analysts and Solution Architects you will concentrate on new service implementation and the migration of existing services as part of a consolidation and upgrade roadmap aimed at aligning the IT and Business Strategy.

The main requirements of the role are:

• To work with service analysts to help with infrastructure projects across the business and support them in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues - acting as a point of technical escalation where needed.
• Understanding business needs and resolving business problems
• Developing and maintaining Operational Infrastructure and IT Systems
• Working collaboratively with all IT Teams, embracing change and supporting the IT dept policies, vision and strategy.
• Creating and maintaining systems configuration documentation, including test plans and recovery methods.
• Ensure that all incidents and requests are updated with progress within the IT Service Management system.
• Ensure prioritisation and escalation processes are followed, liaising when required with the rest of the IT team and/or third parties to ensure that all tickets are resolved.

• Location: Manchester/Liverpool - with periodic travel required to other company offices
• Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 experience dependant

• Reports to: IT Infrastructure Manager
• Previous Experience: Experience of the legal/insurance sector is an advantage.

• Lync 2013
• Autonomy iManage v8 & 9
• Remote Desktop Services
• VOIP (Mitel, Cisco)
• An understanding of/interest in Cybersecurity
