I am recruiting for a Property Damage Paralegal for a fantastic firm in the vibrant law area of Liverpool. The Property Damage Paralegal will be responsible for the handling of a fully litigated caseload of Claimant Litigation, for property damage claims, dealing with all aspects of litigation from issue to trial (non Portal files), it is essential that you possess a minimum of 12 months experience within this sector.
This position works within the Subrogation & Recovery Team, you will be able to work autonomously but also be a team player and support where is required and undertake other duties including assisting more senior fee earners on high value claims will be able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment and be show your ability in review and input data correctly along with demonstrating your initiative.
Duties will include but not limited to;
Draft Court Proceedings / documents
Adhere to Court directions and deadline's
Work to set priorities, create clear plans and manage work to meet Client needs
Engage in effective negotiation
Manage a Litigation Caseload/Pre litigation Case Load, with a view to driving claims to litigation or settlement
Dealing with litigated Claim's
Maintain management information
Ensuring that all case reserves are completed in accordance with the specific client's reserving
Perform legal and factual research
Keeping up to date with relevant legal documents & relevant Case law
