This excellent law firm are looking for a Facilities/Office Assistant, initially on a 6 month contract, to join the administration team in their Oxford office. The successful candidate must be a confident and well organised individual, keen to work as part of a busy team, providing support in the general day to day running of the Oxford office. The tasks are varied and include photocopying, ordering of stationery, franking the external mail, opening of the incoming mail, carrying out regular maintenance tasks which could include repairs and installation of fixtures/fittings, taking responsibility for the setting up and clearing of meeting rooms, together with providing assistance with an archiving clearance project.

The Person Specification 

This position would suit someone who is approachable, flexible and enjoys a busy and varied workload with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates should have good verbal communication skills and common sense. Previous facilities experience is not necessary but some office based experience would be helpful.

Full training and support will be given for this role and will provide development opportunities for the right applicant. You will need a

 Willing to learn and develop

 GCSE's A - B Grades (including Maths and English) minimum

Hours of Work

Please note the hours of work will be: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4.00 pm or 9 am – 5 pm and the firm is happy to discuss what works best for the suitable applicant.
