Corporate/Commercial lawyer required for financial services arm of 'household name' (office based in West London).
As one of three lawyers in the organisation, you will be an integral part of the business and be responsible for a range of commercial legal work. This is a new expansion role for the team.
The work will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a very broad range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, IT agreements, vendor, service and supply contracts, engagement terms etc. It will also involve other legal and risk issues as required, working closely with the wider compliance, governance and company secretarial teams.
A solid academic and legal background is essential. Our client will consider people coming from a wide range of backgrounds including corporate, commercial, insurance, general financial services, pensions, banking or asset management/funds. Experience in the financial services industry would be helpful in this position however it isn't strictly required if people have an interest in the area and relevant experience.
