A leading international professional services business based in the City of London are looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join their high calibre and established legal team. This is a newly created full-time role offered on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities of your new role
Your core duties in this Legal Counsel role will include:
- Supporting the organisation's Financial Advisory offering, operating with visibility and autonomy whilst enjoying the support of other lawyers
- Advising client facing teams on M&A and restructuring transactions
- Participating in non-service line specific projects and initiatives.
- Helping with a contract negotiation
- Being a sounding board for the business in answering ad hoc queries.
Candidate requirements
The business is hoping to hire an In-House Counsel who demonstrates:
- UK qualified with 4+ years of PQE
- Broad transactional corporate and advisory experience
- Strong academics and training coupled with a solution orientated, commercial approach
- Candidates from both law firm and in-house backgrounds will be considered
