A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join a market leading law firm in Manchester with an excellent client base who offer a very attractive salary and benefits package.
About the role
The successful Real Estate Solicitor is required to join a market leading law firm in Manchester with a highly regarded Real Estate team who provide a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property with an enviable client base in the private and public sector including developers, local authorities, academic establishments and healthcare providers.
A real mixed bag of work will be provided in this growth role from high value £100 million plus city centre regeneration schemes to smaller bespoke ventures.
Workflows will include the following:
- Drafting and advising on Heads of Terms
- Drafting and negotiating Development Agreements and associated construction documentation
- Planning and site disposals/acquisitions
- Funding Arrangements
- Due diligence for freehold/leasehold transfers
- Drafting and negotiating leases and lease renewals
- Drafting Licenses to Assign and Licences to Occupy
- Post completion matters
About the Real Estate Solicitor
Given the nature of the work, you will be an experienced Real Estate Solicitor with minimum of 1 year experience in Real Estate matters gained at a reputable firm. Solicitors with high PQE will also be considered.
You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. Strong business development skills with experience in marketing in order to continue the development of this increasingly busy and expanding team is an advantage.
