Superb opportunity for an accomplished employment professional looking for their next career move in private practice. This is a role within a top tier global employment practice which represents major household names, FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies, focusing on a unique mix of work covering high-end, complex, multi-jurisdictional work and highly strategic bet-the-company domestic matters.
The role
The team is currently looking to recruit Employment Associates to join the award-winning Employment Team in London. The firm offers a unique opportunity to flourish in a supportive, progressive, agile working environment where part-time workers are also encouraged to apply. The employment group continues to go from strength to strength, leveraging on its expert global capabilities and significant investment into promoting and supporting its internal talent.
The Team
Our London team consists of more than 30 dedicated employment lawyers who work closely with our dedicated group of Employee Benefits lawyers and Immigration specialists and our Pensions Department. Working with both HR and in-house legal teams on day to day employment queries forms a significant part of our practice. Our lawyers also have recognised leading edge technical capabilities in areas such as discrimination, collective rights and workplace change (including TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, carve outs, restructurings, outsourcing, collective consultation, trade union issues and EWCs), litigation in the employment tribunals and appellate courts, High Court litigation and data privacy.
Candidate
The firm seeks excellent academics coupled with evidence of good quality training and strong employment experience gained from a leading employment practice. The successful applicants will need a good commercial mind-set, be a strong team player and have the ability to build excellent relationships with clients.
