A worldwide top-tier professional services firm is seeking an ambitious junior lawyer to join their tax department based in Surrey.

Reporting to senior management this role sits in a small team working on advisory tax matters for high profile international clients. The role will provide the quality of City Law firm work but with the hours and environment of an in-house setting. Responsibilities will include:

• Advising on a range of tax related matters to management teams within the business as well as external investment funds.
• Drafting tax reports and advising on tax treatment options.
• Assisting with project based work and communicating with clients on tax advisory matters.
• Advising on legal risk whilst ensuring that professional standards are met within the business.
• Working alongside senior members of the sales and marketing teams and recognising business development opportunities.   

The ideal candidate will be either UK private practice / in house trained with a seat being done in Tax. Tax advisory work is beneficial but they will also look at candidates with purely tax drafting experience. Due to the fast -paced and challenging nature of the work the candidate must have excellent academics.
