Commercial (Healthcare) lawyer 2+ years’ PQE LEEDS

Commercial law firm in Leeds is seeking to recruit ambitious Commercial (Healthcare) lawyers of 2 or more years’ PQE to its team in Leeds. You will join this firm’s rapidly growing team of highly experienced specialists working on a wide range of healthcare commercial matters for the NHS and other public and private organisations operating in the health and social care sector. You will be given plenty of client responsibility and exposure but at the same time be part of a supportive team environment. Core areas of the role will include:

• supporting commercial and procurement work for NHS bodies, local authorities and private sector health providers and advising on commercial contracting structures used within both the commissioner and provider sectors, including NHS Standard Form contracts; Joint Ventures; Public Private Partnerships; service level agreements; primary care contracts • advising on New Care Models in the NHS; dealing with innovative contracting structures / corporate joint ventures; major transactions, mergers and acquisitions involving health bodies • supporting and advising on public procurement processes • advising on public bodies’ governance and constitutional issues, conflicts and vires • developing templates and new products relevant to clients and supporting business development initiatives.

Candidates will currently specialise in general Commercial matters. Previous experience of undertaking healthcare-related matters is not essential.
